Position Summary The Patient Coordinator is responsible for managing front desk operations and facilitating patient access in alignment with established practice standards. This role serves as the primary point of contact for patients and ensures accurate scheduling, registration, and communication to support efficient clinic flow and a positive patient experience. Schedules patients in accordance with office protocols while obtaining and verifying key demographic and visit-related information, including patient name, address, referring provider, reason for visit, and authorization details. Maintains and updates patient records to ensure accuracy and completeness. Answers incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient needs, coordinating appointments, and providing clear, non-clinical information within practice guidelines.
