A Hospital in Van Nuys is in the need of an experienced Patient Account Representative to join our team in Van Nuys, California. In this role, the Patient Account Representative will utilize your expertise in hospital billing and collections to ensure seamless revenue cycle operations. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and organizational needs.


Responsibilities:

• Manage hospital billing and collections processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Handle Medicare managed care, commercial insurance, and medical managed care accounts.

• Investigate and resolve medical billing denials and appeals to recover outstanding payments.

• Process claims for hospital inpatient and outpatient services with a focus on maximizing reimbursement.
