Description
A Large Healthcare Company located in the San Fernando Valley is in the immediate need of a Patient Account Representative. The Patient Account Representative is ideal for someone that had 2+ years of experience in medical billing and/or collections. The Patient Account Representative will be responsible for managing patient accounts, resolving billing issues, processing payments, and working with patients, insurers, and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely account resolution.


Key Responsibilities:

+ Review and manage patient accounts to ensure accurate billing and timely follow-up

+ Contact insurance companies, patients, and hospital departments regarding claim status, payment issues, and account discrepancies

+ Process payments, adjustments, refunds, and account updates in accordance with hospital policies

+ Investigate and resolve denied, underpaid, or unpaid claims
