Overview

Applicants are invited to apply for a Pathology Quality Officer, 12‑Month Fixed Term Post. This role involves ensuring patient safety and the maintenance of accreditation and conformance to regulatory bodies. The position provides an opportunity to work within NWLP supporting all laboratories across the North West London Pathology network.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with ISO15189:2022 and Trust standards, identifying appropriate remedial and corrective action plans; monitor compliance with other pathology regulatory bodies relevant to the departments.
• Present information, participate in relevant meetings, and contribute to effective communication within the department.
• Assist laboratory staff with process mapping when preparing new procedures and review process mapping when procedures are reviewed.
• Support adherence to the NWLP Change Control policy and completion of Change Control documentation. <...
