aera and Rouse have developed a structured graduate programme in which graduates learn the patent consulting business through a combination of internal training, real casework, and external courses over the first 3-4 years.

This is a focused programme for passing the European Qualification Examination (EQE), which confers the title of European Patent Attorney (EPA). EPA is the gold standard for patent consulting.

During the first 4-5 months, graduates will receive a detailed introduction to innovation harvesting and patent processes.

Internal training sessions in the first five months will occur in Copenhagen and online. Candidates should be able to work in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmø, or Copenhagen for the programme’s first two years.

We expect a great deal from our graduates, but we also offer something unique: the chance to become experts in the legal processes behind innovation, learning from the best in the field.
