In addition to command of the ED Access Specialists I and II, the Emergency Department Senior Associate is responsible for 'on the floor' oversight of patient throughput and ensures responsibilities of the Access in the Emergency Department are completed. Also escalates staffing concerns, issues to Supervisor or Manager as deemed appropriate.

The position includes but is not limited to rotating positions as needed ~ being trained and expected to rotate assignments in multiple disciplines within the Emergency Departments, and onboarding/precepting all new hires or colleagues needing additional at-the-elbow support in a pressure cooker environment.
