Responsibilities

• Creating new recipes
• Preparing ingredients and measuring ingredients
• Mixing ingredients to make pastry doughs and batters
• Baking desserts using ovens and other equipment
• Decorating cakes with icing and other materials as required
• Ensuring that all desserts meet specified standards of taste, texture and quality
• Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in the pastry chef field
