Position Overview
Contract Period From 1 July 2026 to 30 November 2026 with an option to extend the contract for another year.
Working Hours Mon‑Fri: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (inclusive of a 30‑minute lunch break). No service on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
Scope of Services - First responding:
- Responds to call for help from teachers to remove student and bring the student to pull‑out location.
- Provides triage and basic counselling for students who flare‑up.
- Contacts parents to provide first updates.
- Provides input to SC, SENO, DM, SDT for follow‑up.
- Befriending/mentoring:
- Befriend and mentor students at risk of re‑offending.
- Other duties:
- Manages student engagement activity hub.
- Supports after‑school programmes and learning journeys for high‑needs pupils.
- Attends CMT meetings to be familiar with identified SwANs.
