Duties and Responsibilities

To strives for a satisfactory return of profit on dealer capital invested in parts inventory.

To accomplish objectives using proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, stocks storage and security, pricing, merchandising and promotions.

Administrative Function

1. Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
2. Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all parts department staff.
3. Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the parts department.
4. Monitors all parts related reports to maximize productivity, especially those required to submit to Distributors.
5. Develops and utilizes a lost sales tracking report.
6. Assists in the collection of past-due accounts.
7. Maintains professional appearance.
