Position Overview
The Parts Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the activities of the Parts Department to ensure the overall growth and profit objectives are met. The Parts Manager will formulate the major objectives, specific plans, plan procedures and programs for the Parts Department, along with evaluating the department’s results and performance against objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure the operations of the dealership’s parts department are performing sufficiently to meet the annual and quarterly sales and profit goals using proper purchasing procedures and inventory controls.Establishes short and long-term operating and financial objectives for the Parts Department within the Company’s overall plans and policies.· Exercise appropriate inventory management controls to ensure optimum stocking levels, safekeeping of inventory and core returns reimbursements.· Supervise and direct Parts Departmen...
