We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Part Time Pharmacist - Infusion - Cancer Center.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of medication therapy, including review of all inpatient medication orders and outpatient prescriptions, dispensing of medication, and counseling of patients. Provides guidance and mentors non-licensed staff performing approved medication-related tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

Enters medication information orders appropriately (SIGs, Start/Stop Dates, etc) from written orders D/C's discontinued medications. Validates CPOE orders, and makes necessary correction to order. Screens for possible adverse drug events. Documents interventions, notes, and allergies properly.

Ensures patient-safe, time effective and appropriate medication therapy. Triages and reviews orders for appropriateness of therapy. Selects correct drug/dose/dosa...
