Job Summary:
The School of Interdisciplinary Studies seeks a part-time lecturer as a University Field Supervisor ( UFS ). University Field Supervisors are required to supervise, mentor and interact with pre-service teacher candidates, campus principals, and their cooperating/host/mentor teachers as prescribed by the Texas Education Agency ( TEA ). Through observation, assessment and evaluation of pre-service candidates, field supervisors are responsible for providing high-quality feedback to candidates that result in actionable improvement of their practice. Additionally, UFSs are expected to interact and collaborate with TDC faculty and staff as needed to execute their responsibilities in a timely manner.
