Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Non-competitive Temp Appointment Authority to Meet Critical Hiring Needs in the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a Park Ranger assisting the ranger staff with the routine day-to-day duties required to operate and maintain the recreational facility to which the employee is assigned. Responsibilities Provides routine visitor assistance such as: answering visitor's questions relating to the recreational facility; giving directions to the park's camp grounds, picnic areas and boating areas; providing instructions and information to the public.
