The Paramedic is a versatile two part position working in ED as non-licensed assistive personnel under the direction of and assistance to the RN, and in close relations with Libby and Troy Volunteer ambulance services.



ED: The Paramedic performs assigned tasks and activities according to skill level and patient needs as assessed by the RN. The Paramedic supports nursing personnel in providing nursing care to patients and assists with providing a safe, quiet, clean, organized environment for nursing care delivery. Job duties must be performed in a manner consistent with CPMC.



EMS: While on duty in ED, the Paramedic is on call for Libby and Troy ambulance services as pre-medical center ALS and as transferring caretaker of ambulance transport patients to higher level care facilities. The ED Charge RN, in conjunction with...
