**Job Description:**

The Ground Paramedic demonstrates advanced critical thinking capabilities in working autonomously and in collaboration with other health care providers in the delivery of care to critically ill patients in diverse and non-traditional settings.

**Essential Functions**

+ Provides advanced medical care, including evaluation, treatment, and stabilization of patients.
+ Safely drives and operates ambulances and other emergency vehicles.
+ Transports patients to appropriate medical facilities while ensuring their safety and stability.
+ Maintains effective communication with dispatch, hospital staff, police, fire personnel, and other necessary parties.
+ Accurately completes and maintains Patient Care Reports, files, and forms.
+ Cleans and maintains medical equipment, vehicles, and living quarters.
