Job Description
The Paramedic Field Training Officer (FTO) is responsible for direct and indirect instruction, and evaluation of all Onslow County Emergency Medical Service (OCEMS) personnel. The Field Training Officer provides direct observation, management, and evaluation of new employees and employees needing remedial work/evaluation. This position is assigned to full time daily operations on an ambulance. FTO duties are performed under the moderate supervision of the EMS Training Officer and District Chief.
