Job Description The post holder is responsible for assisting lawyers, carrying out legal research and managing litigation and complaints.
Responsibilities - Draft legal documents and correspondence for review by lawyers.
- Organise and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
- Coordinate the collection, review, and production of documents.
- Maintain a law library up-to-date by monitoring legal volumes.
- Gather and analyze laws, regulations, court decisions, legal articles, documents and other data.
- Investigate case-related factual issues using in-house files and outside reference sources.
- Compile information and prepare statistics, charts, graphs and other summaries to detail the findings.
- Assist in the preparation, filing and service of all court documents.
