What You’ll Do
Conduct, analyze, and summarize online legal research and due diligence searches using public databasesDraft and register financing statements, financing change statements, and discharge documentation; review verification statements, post-registration searches, and notices to debtors (as applicable)Prepare information and document requests and review materials such as term sheets/commitment letters, trust agreements, and corporate documentsDraft and/or review legal documents including mortgages, security agreements, guarantees, priority agreements, officer’s certificates, resolutions, government forms, and closing agendasConduct and review land title searches; prepare and register land title documentsAssist with closings, including drafting undertaking and payout letters, coordinating funds, and preparing wire and trust cheque requestsCorrespond with clients, opposin...
