Job Description Job Description Multi-attorney family law firm in downtown Charlottesville seeks part time paralegal to assist attorneys with litigation-related legal tasks. Preferred candidates will have prior family law experience, or at least, prior litigation law office experience. Duties include: interacting with clients and other attorneys, reviewing and propounding discovery, assisting clients with discovery answers and responses to document requests; issuing witness and document subpoenas; communicating with court staff members; assisting attorneys with litigation tasks, inc. trial preparation, typing documents, mailing documents, copying and scanning documents, filing, communicating with clients, opposing attorneys, and their staff, and other general office duties.
