Global law firm in NY is seeking a Paralegal for the Business Restructuring & Insolvency practice. Minimum of four years of relevant experience in bankruptcy and restructuring preferred
Provide organizational and substantive support to attorneys within the Business Restructuring and Insolvency Group (BRIG)
Assist in the factual development and analysis of cases
Prepare hearing agendas, proofs of claim, and attorney fee applications
Conduct Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and real property searches
Support the preparation of court filings, including cite- and fact-checking briefs, ensuring Bluebook compliance, proofreading, and assembling exhibits and appendices; assist with depositions as needed
Coordinate appraisals for real and personal property
Attend and support court hearings
Draft attorney fee applications and compile supporting documentation
