Position Summary The Paint Assistant supports the paint department by preparing aircraft parts and materials for painting operations while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

This role assists Painters with daily operations, maintains a clean and organized work environment, and safely handles hazardous materials in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities Assist Painters in daily activities not involving the actual spraying of paint.

Prepare aircraft parts and components for painting through hand sanding, masking, and solvent cleaning processes.

Mix a variety of chromated and non-chromated primers and topcoats according to specifications and work instructions.

Lay out, position, and maneuver parts to facilitate efficient and accurate paint application.
