Paediatric Diabetes Family Support Worker

We're looking for motivated individuals to join our Paediatric Diabetes Team, supporting children and young people across hospital and community settings. You will play a key role in delivering specialist care, helping families implement and manage diabetes technology, and providing hands‑on support in clinics, schools, and homes.

This vacancy is for a Family Support Worker on each site – Doncaster and Bassetlaw – both on a fixed‑term basis.

Strong IT skills and experience in paediatric care are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively—especially in languages spoken within the local community. You will assist with device downloads, troubleshoot tech issues, and help set up drop‑in clinics. Your work will also involve supporting emotional and social development through therapeutic activities.
