The Certified Athletic Training provides athletic training services to patients under the direction of the NL Sports Health Medical Director or by written referral from a provider in accordance with Maine state athletic training licensure laws. Medical coverage may be given at high schools, middle schools, local colleges, or within the surrounding communities. The athletic trainer is responsible for providing athletic training services to school(s) and organizations with which the NL Sports Health program has a contract to provide services.
