About the Role
The successful candidate will:
Provide comprehensive orthopaedic care; including consultation, diagnosis and management of general orthopaedic, trauma and arthroplasty patients.
Perform surgical interventions with precision and a commitment to patient safety.
Participate in the on-call roster to manage acute orthopaedic emergencies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the department's clinical governance.
Provide teaching and mentorship to junior doctors and medical students.
Stay up to date with advancements in orthopaedic care and bring innovative practices to the department.
