**Overview:**

Our client is seeking a motivated **Organic Chemist** to join our team. You'll support the development and optimization of surfactant synthesis and related molecular biology techniques to ensure high-quality product output.

**Job Title:** Organic Chemist

**Location:** Fully Onsite (Bay Area)

**Type:** 6-month Contract (with potential for extension)

**Pay Rate:** $28–$32/hr

**Start Date:** Late June or July (flexible for the right candidate)

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (start time flexible)

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Perform organic synthesis (e.g., acyl chloride reactions, PEG addition, distillation) for surfactant production
+ Optimize R&D processes and troubleshoot synthesis workflows
