Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist to join our healthcare team on Saturdays. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. This role involves working with diverse patient populations, from pediatrics to senior care, ensuring optimal visual health and patient satisfaction. Experience with electronic health records such as Epic is preferred to streamline patient documentation and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough eye examinations and vision tests to assess patients' visual acuity and eye health.
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing corrective lenses or medical treatments as needed.
• Provide patient education on eye health, proper use of eyewear, and preventive care strategies.
• Utilize medical terminology accurately for documentation and communication within the healthcare team.
