Position Overview
A Day in The Life at MKS:As an Opto/Mechanical Technician at MKS, you will be responsible for the assembly of optical systems.
You Will Make an Impact By:
+ Audit 1-2 work order kits from warehouse to confirm pieces and part numbers
+ Prepare subassembly components
+ Follow written procedures or drawings
+ Assemble and debug systems incorporating optical, mechanical, and electronic components
+ Test each level of assembly (4-5 processes) at the system level using laboratory instruments.
+ Alignment, optimization, stability, transmission, etc.
+ Package the final assembly daily (if assembly is completed)
+ Cross training is required (trainee and/or trainer)
Skills You Bring:
+ 0-2 years of related experience for Level 1
+ 2-3 years of related experience for Level 2
+ The ability to work in a clean room environment
