Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a Optical Instrument Repairer (Title 32) (Permanent), Position Description Number D1211000 and is part of the CSMS West, National Guard. Responsibilities As an Optical Instrument Repairer (Title 32), WG-3306-10, you will perform the below duties: Repairs, modifies, overhauls, inspects, troubleshoots, tests, adjusts, and cleans the optics and supporting mechanical and electrical elements of complex panoramic telescopes. These contain offset prism assemblies, fire control instruments and a wide variety of less complex instruments and devices such as transits, theodolites, aiming circles, binoculars, searchlights, gunner's quadrants, compasses, periscopes, telescopes, and mounts, surveying sets, and fire direction sets.
