It s almost 100% call consults with follow-up in the morning
Usually general ocular traumas abrasions (no burn), impalements, retinal detachment, and occasional global rupture.
Physician must be promptly available meaning 30 min from notification arrival
No admitting, hospitalist will admit. 100% adult patient population
