Summary This position is located at the Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany, New York and supports the Ophthalmology Section of the Surgery Service. If selected, you will provide support to the eye clinic, inpatient services, eye operating room, and Emergency Department. You will follow established guidelines, ethics, polices, and protocols of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Stratton VAMC, and the profession. You will function as a cooperative and collegial team member with the entire staff. Responsibilities Your basic responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Providing comprehensive clinical and surgical ophthalmological care to our Veteran patients. Providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in inpatient and outpatient settings, ordering diagnostic studies and procedures, and perform surgical and non-surgical general ophthalmology procedures.
