Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital, Ophthalmology – Permanent, Full‑time, 80 hours per fortnight (1.0FTE).
The successful candidate will work in a team of ophthalmologists, registrars, an orthoptist and a specialist ophthalmic nurse in the outpatient clinic and operating theatre. We run optometrist and nurse‑led glaucoma clinics, registrar‑led minor procedures clinics and have nurse injectors for Avastin clinics.
Hawkes Bay Ophthalmologists have a collegial attitude and a strong commitment to ongoing education. Monthly continuing medical education meetings are held and ongoing audit is actively encouraged. A generous budget is allocated for attending meetings and courses in NewZealand and overseas.
