The Department of Defense (DoD) developed the Military and Family Life Counseling (MFLC) program as an initiative of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP), facilitating private and confidential Non-Medical Counseling services.


The MFLC Program was established to expand access to confidential, face-to-face counseling and reduce the barriers and stigma often associated with seeking counseling support.


Currently, the MFLC Program provides non-medical counseling, consultation, and outreach services to more than 200 military installations or nearby civilian communities located in...
