Job Summary:


Manages nursing and care delivery operations and programs within a twenty-four-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week hospital environment to ensure alignment with cost, quality, and clinical and utilization standards by developing and leading the implementation of strategic initiatives. Leads interdisciplinary hospital teams, ensuring proper training and holding staff accountable for performance including implementation of emergency preparedness plans. Manages hospital administrative functions to support patient care by monitoring compliance, developing strategies to achieve workflow and performance targets, assuming accountability for human resource and labor management initiatives, quality/risk management issues, and departmental budget management.
