Key Responsibilities
- Exercise management over employee and labour issues within a confidential capacity.
- Oversee and participate in the recruitment and selection process for new paramedic staff.
- Actively develop and coach staff – encourage and support developmental initiatives by paramedics in collaboration with the human resources department and other related committees.
- Orientate new employees to the goals and objectives; mission, vision, and values of Medavie.
- Encourage semi‑autonomous work groups and actively lead or participate in various committees.
- Conduct effective group meetings (including staff and labour relations) and lead staff by example.
- Improve employee performance through motivation and performance reviews.
