Operational Accountant 
Type: Permanent | Office-based (Mon–Fri, 08:00–16:30)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operational Accountant to support financial operations through accurate reporting, strong controls, and process improvement.

Key duties include overseeing Accounts Payable and supporting Accounts Receivable, reviewing financial transactions, VAT and reconciliations, preparing VAT returns and financial reports, maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance with SARS, Tax and VAT requirements, and assisting with audits and stock takes.

Requirements: Completed Accounting Degree

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, Retail experience advantageous, Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge (Microsoft Dynamics beneficial)
Additional requirement: Own reliable transport
