The Widem Group is looking for Road Freight & Forwarding Operators for its Spanish branches in Algeciras (Cádiz) and Monesterio (Badajoz). Joining our dynamic operations team with the following main duties and responsibilities:
• Day-to-day running our own north- / southbound traffics between Morocco and U.K./Central Europa
• Day-to-day running our forwarding activities (FTL/LTL/groupage services)
• Liaising with drivers/suppliers/customers/other European branches
• Controlling of driving and rest times of drivers
• Fleet optimization and monitoring
• Handling of transport orders / tracking shipments
• Spot quoting / customer service
• 1 in 3 weekend on-call duty covered remotely / rotating shift system
Skills and experience:
• Essential: Minimum of 1-2 years freight forwarding / transporter experience
• Advanced level of English (minimum level B2, both written and spoken is essential). Very valuable to have a medium-high level in French.
