Summary

The Director of Intake is responsible for the success, accountability and oversight of the admission process. Manages the day to day operations of Intake to ensure safe and appropriate care is provided to those referred to and presenting for assessment for mental health services. This position ensures the direction and implementation of operating policies, processes and initiatives. This includes providing coaching and supervision to staff to meet and support organization objectives. The director is responsible for managing the department that handles all general inquiry calls from potential customers and referral sources, helping to provide services with high patient and referral source satisfaction. The director ensures these calls are documented and handled appropriately.
