JOB TITLE: CT Technologist
JOB CODE: 5146
DEFINITION: Under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, conducts and assists personnel in the performance of CT examinations. Is able to provide patient care activities to include adult, pediatric and neonatal patients. Responsible for the proper utilization of Radiology Information System as described in the RIS policy and procedure.
EDUCATION: Completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE): Meets requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Up to one year experience in CT is desirable. Graduate of a formal radiology technology program
