Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Group Leader and/or direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Mechanic performs a variety of building maintenance and repairs on all kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and air conditioning units.


Core Job Responsibilities


+ Provide general mechanical services in repairing of hospital machinery.

+ Building maintenance and repair tasks of a skilled or semi-skilled nature

+ Ability to comprehend construction drawings and prints

+ Understands filing system and participates in keeping system in order for departmental use
