Position Summary

: The occupational therapist accurately assesses and identifies deficits in a patient’s ability to perform activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) relative to physical, cognitive, and/or psychological impairments. Develops an individualized treatment plan with patient-centered goals that will be accomplished by therapeutic interventions and the use of ADLs. This may include adaptation or modification of the environment or objects within the environment to facilitate engagement and participation.
