The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment, planning, administering and supervising population specific treatment of inpatients and outpatients referred to Occupational Therapy for the purpose of retaining and regaining their highest functional level. The Occupational Therapist serves as a resource for physicians and other support services, assists to develop and monitor policies/procedures/standards of care for regulatory and quality assurance compliance, assists in the development and implementation of programs and new services or changes to current programs to meet current clinical practice, assists in the development and supervision of support personnel, promotes the field of Occupational Therapy through marketing/education/participation in activities in hospital and community, participates in the education of students as Cli...
