GENERAL SUMMARY:
+ We are seeking a Contingent Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Hand Therapy, including post-op tendon repair cases; Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credentials are preferred. This position is in a large vibrant outpatient clinic with a thriving Hand Therapy program in Midtown Detroit.
+ Performs OT evaluation and uses treatments to develop, recover, or maintain the daily living and work skills of patients.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Performs patient assessment, treatment, discharge planning and collaboration with other health care providers.

+ Documents patient care and billing information timely and in accordance with department standards.

+ Communicates with co-workers, and other professionals, including physicians and nurses as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
