- ASAP - Ongoing Need
- OB/GYNs to Provide GYN Coverage
- OB/GYNs Are Not Required to Perform Circumcisions
- OB/GYNs Needed for First Assist, on occasion for privates requesting assistance on complex cases
- Hospitalists do not back up any other specialty
- Backup Available to the Physicians
- Program Objectives:
- Provide L&D support to ensure consistent high-quality care
- Expand access to care for women in the community
- Respond to OBED within 30 minutes
- 24-7 OBED Coverage
- Backup/Oversight for OB Residents
- Total Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.): 600
- Total Hospital/Clinic GYN Surgery Volume (annual avg.): 150
- 8 Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) rooms
- 5 Postpartum rooms
- C-Section Operating Room
