OB Hospitalist PhysicianPosition Summary:As part of the Ob Hospitalist clinical team, an Ob Hospitalist embraces delivering a quality OB Hospitalist program.
Position Responsibilities:- Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients including but not limited to providing contraceptive services (at hospitals that provide contraceptive services)
- Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients including situations where Maternal Fetal Medicine support may only be available by telephone or video consultation
- Participate daily in Labor and Delivery board rounds
- Serve as the 'Safety Officer' on Labor and Delivery to ensure that all patients, regardless of their primary admitting clinician, have the safest possible outcomes
