About the Role
We are working with University Hospitals of Northamptonshire NHS Group to recruit a Band 7 Sonographer to join their Antenatal Ultrasound Service.
This is a specialist role within maternity services, offering the opportunity to deliver high-quality obstetric ultrasound care while supporting service development and training within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Independently perform and report on obstetric ultrasound scans
Produce high-quality diagnostic images in line with departmental protocols
Communicate findings sensitively to patients, including complex or distressing outcomes
Vet and triage ultrasound referrals in line with clinical guidelines and best practice
Refer patients appropriately for further care or specialist input
