Nurture Teacher – Sunderland

The Education Network are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Nurture Teacher to work within a specialist provision in the Sunderland area. This is a long term opportunity, working with secondary aged pupils who are working below expected levels for their age.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students both academically and emotionally, creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that helps pupils build confidence and achieve positive outcomes.

The Role:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday
Working hours: 8:30am -4:30pm
Early finish on Fridays: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Long-term placement
Teaching secondary-aged students with additional learning and emotional needs
Delivering tailored lessons to meet individual learning levels
Supporting pupils with engagement, behaviour and emotional regulationRequirements:
