Position Overview
The Nursing Instructor is responsible for simulation and/or clinical instruction and evaluation, program development, team collegiality and problem solving on a per diem basis. The nursing instructor must possess the ability to work cooperatively, be able to demonstrate leadership and organizational skills and be able to appropriately communicate with students, peers and professional associates. The instructor's conduct shall reflect the Code for Professional Nurses and the Core Competencies for Nurse Educators
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Display courtesy and professionalism at all times while providing timely, helpful service to all students, patients, visitors, physicians and associates.
Facilitate Learning:
Implement a variety of teaching strategies appropriate to student needs, desired student outcomes, content and context. Ground teaching strategies in educational theory.
