Nursing Faculty


Northwestern College invites applications for a full-time faculty position (open rank) in nursing to begin in August of 2026. The successful candidate can expect to teach courses (including some lab and clinical) in the areas of Fundamentals, Health Assessment, Med/Surg, Gerontology, Public Health, Leadership and other areas as needed. The department is especially interested in candidates who can work collegially and effectively with others in addition to carrying out scholarly activity, student advising, and faculty governance responsibilities. The normal teaching load for this position is 24 credit hours per academic year.

Required Qualifications: Candidates should hold an advanced degree in nursing. Candidates with a master’s degree should be willing to pursue a doctoral degree.
