**Position Overview:**

Provides administrative and patient care leadership in an assigned in/outpatient setting in order to provide excellence in the delivery of high-quality patient care and an optimal patient care experience. The incumbent directs the activities and resources of the nursing unit in partnership with physicians, medical staff, leadership, and others to resolve operational challenges and/or to improve processes. Works with senior leadership to develop and establish short- and long-term strategic plans that complement system, operating unit or affiliate goals and initiatives, including business, operations, and/or organizational priorities.
