Summary The Dayton VA Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team in the Community Living Center, Hero's Point. The selectee will provide Veteran/resident care, perform clinical procedures, technical procedures and ancillary services. This Nursing Assistant will also perform personal care or nursing care activities that do not require licensure and/or education. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Listens attentively to report and note pertinent items. Accepts adults chosen life-styles and assists necessary adjustments relating to health. Recognizing adults' values and function of independence and ability to be self-sustaining in life. Assisting patients to keep physically and socially active and to maintain peer group interactions.
